MINISTRIES, GUILDS, AND ORGANIZATIONS
“Church Ministry”, refers to any person, persons, program or organization of the Church, who or which, alone and together, labors in love to accomplish the work of God here on earth.
Men of Vision (MOV)
Theme scriptures are Mark 16:15, “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature…” and Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men that they will see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.” MOV’s purpose is to deepen the spirituality of the men in the church and act as an undergirdment for all programs of the church. These men serve as role models within the church and community. They provide active prayer support, community outreach and build Godly relationships among church members. M.E. Weston Guild
This guild’s main focus is that of outreach, home/hospital/nursing facility visits, and a host of other initiatives that support, uplift and encourage those within the local church and community who are less fortunate. All women are welcomed and encouraged to participate.

New Members Orientation
The membership of UBCC welcomes you into our church family. New Members classes are held for a duration of four weeks covering a variety of topics so that new members may become familiar with the church history, the organizational structure, basic principles, provide resources and quality information to guide members into making a smooth transition. We are here for you and invite you to get involved with a ministry of your choice. We are saving a place just for you!

Culinary (Kitchen) Ministry
This group is instrumental in coordinating menus, food selections, catering, serving teams and festive decorations for special events, banquets, and repass at the church. This team of volunteers ensures a warm inviting atmosphere for fellowship, makes sure that food is served hot, nutritiously and with a Godly spirit.

Stewards/Stewardess– (Prayer Warriors)
Church officers and other members who are lead to be a part of this ministry, lead the congregation along with the worship leader, in prayer, praise and scripture readings. This group also assists with first Sunday – Holy Communion Service.

Ushers
This ministry serves as door keepers and assistants to the pastor. During service they collect tithes and offerings and greet all members and visitors.

Greeters
Open to all born again believers who enjoy meeting and greeting visitors and potential new members. This team distributes visitor cards and thanks each visitor for coming to worship via a mailed letter.

Children's Ministry
Children’s ministry provides support to parents wishing to attend church services while their children are being taught in a child-friendly Christian environment. Our new Children’s Ministry is for all children ages two (2) and potty trained through age 10.

Media Ministry
This ministry provides audio for the total worship experience with the latest technology. Weekly CD’s of the sermon are available for purchase after service.

Praise Dance
Open to all born again believers who are skilled and willing to share their gift of dance in “Praise to God”.

Baby Dedications and Baptisms
Members and family of members are invited to bring their newborns forward and the entire church will pray with them to aid in the welfare of the child/children. Baptisms are performed on members that have a desire to be baptized and understand the concept of Jesus dying for all of our sins.

Music Ministry
The Music Ministry of UBCC is an integral part of the church’s vision for equipping saints to go forth into the world as leaders, thoroughly established in the word of God, glorifying God, living life as Christians, dedicated and committed to advancing the kingdom of God, to seek and to save the lost and to destroy the works of the enemy through the ministry of song and praise.

Open to all born again believers 12 years to 18 years of age.
